Overview
Data is the new currency of the development sector. The Impact Assessment & Reporting Intern is responsible for the "Proof of Concept." You will design the tools to measure change and collate the evidence that proves the Planet Run is making a difference. This role is critical for donor transparency and internal learning.
Key Responsibilities
Create survey forms, checklists, and observation guides for data collection during events.
Manage the central database of all impact metrics (participants, trees, waste, reach).
Use Excel or other tools to analyze trends (e.g., "Growth in youth participation by 20%").
Synthesize case studies and testimonials into readable impact narratives.
Produce the monthly and post-event "Impact Reports" that are shared with stakeholders, partners, and the public.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, charts) and Google Sheets.
Ability to write clear, concise, and data-backed reports.
Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, or any discipline with a focus on research methods.
Ability to analyze data without bias.
