Overview

Data is the new currency of the development sector. The Impact Assessment & Reporting Intern is responsible for the "Proof of Concept." You will design the tools to measure change and collate the evidence that proves the Planet Run is making a difference. This role is critical for donor transparency and internal learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create survey forms, checklists, and observation guides for data collection during events.

  • Manage the central database of all impact metrics (participants, trees, waste, reach).

  • Use Excel or other tools to analyze trends (e.g., "Growth in youth participation by 20%").

  • Synthesize case studies and testimonials into readable impact narratives.

  • Produce the monthly and post-event "Impact Reports" that are shared with stakeholders, partners, and the public.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, charts) and Google Sheets.

  • Ability to write clear, concise, and data-backed reports.

  • Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, or any discipline with a focus on research methods.

  • Ability to analyze data without bias.
