Overview
The Planet Run generates massive amounts of data—registrations, run times, health stats, waste metrics. The Data Collection & Analysis Intern turns this noise into signal. You will be responsible for the integrity of the data pipeline, ensuring that decisions are driven by facts and that our impact claims are mathematically sound.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the deployment of digital data collection tools (ODK, KoboToolbox, Google Forms) to field volunteers.
Validate and clean the incoming raw data to remove duplicates and errors.
Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and key insights (e.g., "Which age group runs the fastest?" or "Which district plants the most trees?").
Maintain a secure and organized master database of all beneficiaries and participants.
Create automated dashboards or periodic reports for the management team.
Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in Excel (Advanced), Google Sheets, and potentially tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
Strong logical reasoning and statistical understanding.
Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science students.
High ethical standards for handling personal data (privacy).
