Behind every great event is a great spreadsheet. The Operations & MIS (Management Information Systems) Intern ensures that the back-office runs like clockwork. You will manage the inventory, logistics data, and operational workflows that enable the field teams to succeed without worrying about shortages or mismanagement.
Key Responsibilities
Track stock levels of t-shirts, medals, bibs, and refreshments across different warehouses or storage points.
Plan the movement of goods from central storage to event sites, optimizing for cost and time.
Maintain a vendor database, track payments, and manage invoices.
Identify inefficiencies in the registration or distribution process and suggest standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure all operational data is accurately entered into the MIS for real-time tracking.
Skills & Qualifications
Highly organized with a love for processes and order.
Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with ERP or inventory software is a bonus.
Operations Management, Commerce, Supply Chain, or Engineering students.
Trustworthy handling of stock and vendor data.
