Overview

The PPP (Public-Private Partnership) & Cluster Development Intern works to create self-sustaining geographic clusters of Planet Run activity. You will facilitate the "Handshake" between the Government (Public), Corporate Sponsors (Private), and the Community to drive development in specific zones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify geographic zones (e.g., an industrial area + nearby villages) suitable for a cluster development model.

  • Bring together local government officials, company representatives, and community leaders for joint planning meetings.

  • Map the resources available within the cluster (e.g., a company's CSR fund, a municipality's truck, a college's volunteers) and pool them.

  • Help design a "Model Planet Run District" that can be replicated elsewhere.

  • Maintain minutes of meetings and MOUs (Memorandum of Understanding) between partners.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to see the big picture and connect dots between different organizations.

  • Basic negotiation and consensus-building skills.

  • Urban Planning, Management, Public Administration, or Social Work students.

  • Working with government and corporate bureaucracies requires patience and persistence.
