Overview
The PPP (Public-Private Partnership) & Cluster Development Intern works to create self-sustaining geographic clusters of Planet Run activity. You will facilitate the "Handshake" between the Government (Public), Corporate Sponsors (Private), and the Community to drive development in specific zones.
Key Responsibilities
Identify geographic zones (e.g., an industrial area + nearby villages) suitable for a cluster development model.
Bring together local government officials, company representatives, and community leaders for joint planning meetings.
Map the resources available within the cluster (e.g., a company's CSR fund, a municipality's truck, a college's volunteers) and pool them.
Help design a "Model Planet Run District" that can be replicated elsewhere.
Maintain minutes of meetings and MOUs (Memorandum of Understanding) between partners.
Skills & Qualifications
Ability to see the big picture and connect dots between different organizations.
Basic negotiation and consensus-building skills.
Urban Planning, Management, Public Administration, or Social Work students.
Working with government and corporate bureaucracies requires patience and persistence.
