Overview
Youth are the primary drivers of climate action globally. This intern is tasked with igniting that fire within the student community. You will serve as a campus ambassador and youth strategist, creating buzz and excitement about the Planet Run in schools, colleges, and youth clubs. The goal is to make sustainability "cool" and aspirational, turning runs into a youth culture phenomenon.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute promotional events, flash mobs, and seminars inside college campuses to drive registrations.
Collaborate with Student Unions, Rotaract Clubs, and NSS units to make Planet Run their official flagship activity.
Create campus-specific social media campaigns that translate into physical attendance at the event.
Identify and mentor "Campus Captains" who will further spread the message within their peer groups.
Capture youth-centric content (reels, vox pops) during outreach sessions to showcase student excitement.
Skills & Qualifications
High energy levels with the ability to engage and inspire young audiences.
A strong existing network within student communities is a plus.
Current students active in extra-curriculars, NSS, NCC, or Student Council members.
Basic understanding of event marketing and peer-to-peer promotion.
